“We are thrilled to open the CSM Martin R. "Gunny" Barreras Memorial Park to the public once again," said Ward 5 Council Member Richard Fimbres. “I want to thank all the neighbors, Sunnyside High School, the Sunnyside School District, and the stakeholders who took part in this process. This park is a tribute to CSM Martin R. "Gunny" Barreras' legacy and will provide a safe and enjoyable space for residents, and the community, to gather and engage in all of the outdoor activities and enjoy all the wonderful amenities the park will have to offer."

Listen to the ooohs, ahhhs, and squeals of delight as George shares his wonderful world of Magic and his passion for STEM subjects. Be there as George uses Magic and Illusion to engage the kids. Then continue to have fun with him as he does science experiments, Engineering and Math demonstrations while promoting and encouraging the kids to get into STEM fields in the future.
