Hop on over to Quincie Douglas Center for our Egg Hop Hunt event Saturday, March 9, from 8 to 10 a.m. Festivities include egg hunts, crafts, games, face painting, Ready, Set, Rec! and other activities.

Egg hunt times:

• Ages 4 and under: 8:20-8:30 a.m.
• Ages 5-9: 9-9:15 a.m.
• Ages 10 and over: 9:30-9:45 a.m.

Make a Difference: Stuff-the-Bus 2024

 Start the year by making a difference in the Tucson community with Sun Tran and the Food Bank of Southern Arizona. Join us on Friday, January 19, 2024, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the HSL Asset Management corporate office, 3901 East Broadway Boulevard, to help Stuff-the-Bus by donating non-perishable food items.

Join us as we celebrate the Town of Oro Valley’s 50^th birthday with a memorable Parade. Marvel at vibrant floats, local performers, and community groups coming together to celebrate our Town’s journey over the past five decades.

The event kicks off at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6^th near the Ironwood Ridge High School and will follow Naranja Dr east ending at the Oro Valley Public Library parking lot, just east of the La Cañada intersection.

Join us for a free, family-friendly event at James D. Kriegh Park with food trucks, arts and crafts, games and the Easter bunny!

A solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth. The Moon covers the Sun from our perspective, making it look like the Sun is disappearing. What makes a solar eclipse partial is that the line between the Earth, Moon, and Sun isn't perfectly straight. Because of this, part of the Sun stays visible, giving it the appearance of a crescent.
