My family and I went on a thrilling adventure to the Canadian Rockies.

In the beginning, we went to Lake Louise in the Banff National Park. The water was a magnificent teal, and the lake was almost completely frozen over. During our hike, I thought I heard a helicopter. As we kept walking, I discovered that it was an avalanche! When we got to the end of the trail, we saw the snow that had fallen off the mountain and hurried back to the car.

This three-day program is designed to develop safe and caring relationships between participants and horses. Participants learn basic caregiving skills such as grooming a horse and cleaning a horse’s stall. They also learn the process of preparing a horse to be ridden, which culminates with their first riding experience.
