DISNEYLAND CELEBRATES 70 YEARS!

The rides, food and friendly characters of Disneyland and DCA are truly a sight to behold. But what if I told you it can get even better? That’s right, the70th anniversary of Disneyland is upon us! This event features new snacks, additions to classic rides, and a colorful nighttime spectacular to finish a wonderful day at the happiest place on earth. Best of all, this celebration will continue through summer 2026!

There are numerous food choices at Disneyland, from quick and easy churros to sit-down meals, and the 70th celebration introduces even more options. If you’re craving a snack to satisfy your sweet tooth, look no further than the Celebration Churro, rolled in Ube sugar and topped with marbled blue raspberry icing drizzle and sprinkles! There’s also the Celebration Beignet at Tiana’s Palace, the Mocha Cream Puff at Rancho del Zocalo, and the 70th Stuff at Red Rose Taverne. For more refined dining, there's the Paint the Night Dining Package and the World of Color Happiness!

Dessert Party, with reserved seating for the nighttime spectaculars. Disneyland isn’t just about food. The rides are also part of what makes the happiest place on earth so happy! There is a plethora of classic rides, such as Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as newer ones, like Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. For the 70th Celebration, two rides are getting new additions! Look for Miguel and Dante from Coco in “It’s a Small World” and 70th-inspired targets throughout Toy Story Midway Mania. There are two new nighttime spectaculars, Paint the Night and World of Color Happiness, as well as the Celebrate Happy Cavalcade, in the morning. On the Disneyland app, you can vote for one of four emotions (Disgust, Anger, Sadness or Envy) to have a special place in World of Color Happiness!

Last, but not least, there’s the Key to Disneyland, featured at multiple locations across the park. After purchasing the key, search for a lock station in each land. Insert the key and watch the magic unfold! When you unlock all nine stations, find the Mickey Topiary Finale lock station near the entrance of the park to unlock even more secrets including a commemorative trading pin.
