The combat experience is a lot of fun! You can use abilities like webs and special attacks, or simply fight criminals and bosses with your hands. The variety of bosses adds to the enjoyment. The webs can be used in many ways, such as shooting bosses or webbing up normal criminals. Shooting enemies enough with your webs can also stun them and wrap the criminals up with webs. Once you get upgrades, you can even swing enemies around.
The special attacks are really powerful. The hand to hand fighting is awesome! There are so many combinations and attack patterns you can do with the buttons including the basic uppercuts, kicks and normal punches.
“Spider-Man 2” features a wide variety of costumes, each with its own unique design. The suits look stylish. The number 3 is the noir suit. It is just so clean with the Spider-Verse animation and dark with the trench coat. The number 2 is the Amazing Suit 2. It really lives up to its name, amazing! But the Number 1 is the superior suit. It’s awesome, with the perfectly balanced green and white colors.The back claw attack being green adds to its cleanliness and perfect fit with the sky and city. It’s my favorite suit in the game.
The game features an array of impressive abilities, each with its own backstory. For instance, Miles’ new abilities, a lookalike to his venom smash es, now harness pure electricity obtained from Mr. Negative. These abilities gradually increase in power as players progress through the game. Peter’s claw ability is pretty cool—four claws come out of his back and they can be upgraded to have more attacks.
One of the best abilities in the game is the Anti-Venom and Venom abilities. They are really cool.
The gameplay is enjoyable, but what truly makes the game amazing is its storyline. It begins with Peter’s attempt to get a job at Miles’s high school. Upon completing the main story, players are urged not to reset, as there is a lot of additional content to explore. After you finish the game you can do FNSM requests and side missions. People familiar with the first Spider-Man game will be happy to see Yuri come back.
For all that has been said previously about this game being the best, there is one thing that is not perfect. The MJ missions of the first Spider-Man game were really hard to complete. They have definitely improved in this newest game. However the missions still require a lot of use of stealth and that makes playing the game really difficult.
